Ingram Micro came to INK in need of a very fast brand for their new Cloud-based SaaS group, previously called Ingram Micro Cloud Services. The challenges was to launch a brand in less than 60-days to coincide with one of the biggest trade shows of the year, Cloud Summit.
INK began with an immersive 4 day trip to Barcelona to interview dozens of their executives, partners and clients in an attempt to quickly immerse ourselves in their business and gain the valuable perspective of their employees and loyal clients. Soon thereafter, INK created a Strategic Brief, new Messaging Strategy, Logo and Visual Identity. The chosen design system is a literal manifestation of a “platform”, which is the essence of what Cloud Blue offers. The blue bar, or platform, serves as a portal in and out of the businesses they support and serves as a strong anchor for the brand.
